Tyrin Boehm
Hi! My name is Tyrin Boehm. I am a senior at Tamiscal High School. I have lived in Marin county my entire life, but I was born in the northern suburbs of Chicago. My personal culture is something I hold with great pride. My ethnic background comes primarily from the Central American territories (Panama and Dominican Republic) and to the African continent (South Africa). Something that really speaks to my heart is servicework. It has really helped change my take on the world, and made me realize how fortunate I am to live in Marin County. I went to the Dominican Republic the last two summers to play baseball. I was able to give back to the local communities there. I recently began mentoring kids in baseball and passing off my knowledge to help them build character, growing his or her skills on and off the baseball diamond and reassuring younger athletes that there's more to a sport than winning.
Grace LaMarre
Hi! My name is Grace Lamarre. I am 16 years old. I am a junior at San Clemente High School in Southern California. I love to play lacrosse, go to the beach with friends and family, and I love to cook. I also enjoy camping and hiking.
Lucy Melanephy
Hi! My name is Lucy Melanephy, I am a sophomore at Petaluma High School. I play volleyball and I swim for my school. Between those two sports volleyball is for sure my favorite because I love the girls I play with and how we have bonded as a team. Other than swim and volleyball I love to be outside, my favorite thing to do outside is camp and go to the beach.
Leah Pettway
Hello, My name is Leah pettway. I live in Long beach and attend Wilson high school. I'll be entering into my junior year there. Most of my interests consist of playing music and bike riding near the beach. I hope to attend college for music. Currently, I play softball and perform in my school’s marching band and symphonic winds.

My name is Tracy Ginther, I live in Mill Valley and am originally from Maryland. I am married with two grown sons, and I am an avid letter writer, crafter, seamstress and enjoy lots of other creative endeavors.
Maryann Welton
Hello! My name is MaryAnn. I am a little older than most of my fellow writers - I am in my 40’s, and live with my amazing husband, 2 teenage kids (a son and daughter) and our 2 dogs Daisy and Bruno in Southern California. I love travelling, cooking, running, paddleboarding, reading and anything having to do with the beach and doing outdoorsy activities with friends and family. I am obsessed with dogs, especially French Bulldogs and all things Italian (my favorite food and travel destination and even trying to learn the language!) I am looking forward to making some new friends through this process!

My name is Natalie and I am a long time Mill Valley, California resident. I moved here in 1977 from Long Beach, California when I was a kid. I have been married for 30 years to Scott and have a 27 year old daughter named Olivia. My husband is a Private Investigator, and my daughter just passed the Bar Exam and is a lawyer in San Francisco. I am a Sales Manager who has been in the watch and jewelry business for 25 years. My passion is precious vintage jewelry. I love the history and design behind the pieces. I also enjoy beaches, yoga, crossword puzzles, reading, gardening, and traveling.

My name is Gabrielle Guido and I am a senior in high school. I enjoy baking, volunteering at hospitals and writing for my school publication. I also tutor kids in my free time and spend time with my two cats.
Claire Phillips
Hello! My name is Claire Phillips, and I am a senior at Aragon High School in the Bay Area. I am planning on majoring in my favorite subject, history, when I attend college next year. I am actively involved in many social and political issues both in my community and on a national level. I enjoy mock trial, playing volleyball, running my high school rallies, and spending every free second with my friends.

Hello! My name is Nina Sivaji and I am from Augusta, Ga. I was born in Kerala, India but immigrated to the United States at the age of five. I am currently a sophomore in college at the University of Georgia and am majoring in Biology with the hope of eventually pursuing a career in Dentistry. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and volunteering.

Saanvi Dhingra
Hi, this is Saanvi Dhingra :),I'm 14,a freshman at Suncity School. I'm a hardcore bibiophile,and love to study literature. Writing helps me express my thoughts in a way nothing else can,I love to volunteer,for causes like Letters Of Comfort,it's a great way to help so many individuals,and connect with them :). I currently really want to study marine biology,psychology and business. They're completely different things to pursue,but oh well,i've got some time to figure that out :) I play the piano,and recently started learning the guitar,that's not been going too well,but I'm working on it! I love to sing and have been singing ever since I was 5, I know a couple of dance forms as well,and perform whenever I get the opportunity to :). I'm a mental health advocate,and have my own non-profit that I run called Adolescent's Psyche,it's mainly for teenagers that struggle with mental health issues. I can't wait to reach out to more people,and connect with the residents that Letters of Comfort is giving me a chance to! :)

Caitlin Beard
Hi! My name's Caitlin Beard, and I'm a sophomore at Redwood High School. I recently got my driver's license, and I love driving around and picking up my favorite holiday drink. In my free time, I love singing, reading, hanging out with friends and family, and going on pretty hikes. I've been doing musical theatre since I was nine years old and I've been playing piano for eight years now. I recently became a piano teacher which I really enjoy! I also work at a flower store for a couple hours a week. Hopefully if quarantine ends soon I'll get to be in some more musicals before I leave for college! I'm super excited to be a part of Letters for Comfort. :)

Hi, my name is Paulina Laremont. I was born in Madrid but moved to California when I was 7, but I still go back and visit often. I am currently a sophomore at High School 1327 in San Anselmo (formally known as Drake High School.) I love playing volleyball, hanging out with my friends, traveling and cooking.
